A loud blast was heard, and a plume of smoke could be seen rising late on Tuesday above the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, a stronghold of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, a Reuters witness said.
The city has been on edge for days ahead of an anticipated Israeli attack in retaliation for a strike on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights that killed a dozen Druze children and teenagers.
Israel and the United States have blamed Hezbollah for the attack. Hezbollah has denied responsibility.

Israel denies involvement but it seems like Hezbollah got an answer for killing those kids who were playing soccer.

Yes,we just bombed something (someone) in Beirut.
My daughter is in Jerusalem with friends right now. I told my wife to call her and make sure she comes home promptly.....just in case those sirens go off......
I still love it here!

I remember Beirut when it was still considered “the Paris of the Eastern Mediterranean.” (By reports from Paris these days, it might still be.)

The IDF took out the Military adviser for Nazrallah..he also had a 5 million dollar bounty on his head for the 1983 US marine barracks bombing

Seems to be an all too common occurrence around there.

Every time one of those dies, another one takes his place. Israel won't ever run out of Hezbollah military advisers to take out. Roaches survive even the worst natural disasters, so, IDf bombings are nothing in comparison.
