President Donald J. Trump’s first television ad attacking his new rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, splices together footage of her dancing and images of migrants crossing the border as the ad accuses her of being a failed “border czar.”
The 30-second ad aims to hold Ms. Harris responsible for millions of border crossings and a quarter-million deaths from fentanyl, which the ad says occurred “on Harris’s watch.” It closes with a new Trump tagline for Ms. Harris: “Failed. Weak. Dangerously Liberal.”
The words flash on the screen as she dances, footage from an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
It is the Trump campaign’s first major television ad purchase of the election since Ms. Harris became the de facto Democratic nominee. The campaign began making a two-week ad reservation on Monday, buying time in the six top battlegrounds.
The ad also makes use of an interview Ms. Harris did with NBC’s Lester Holt in 2021 when, as she was facing pressure from Republicans to visit the border, she said that she did not understand why her presence would be so important. “I haven’t been to Europe,” Ms. Harris said. “I mean, I don’t understand the point you’re making.”
The ad also mentions crimes committed by migrants and raises the specter of a potential terror attack. “ISIS, now here,” the narrator states.

needs to show a border gate being opened and thousands of illegal aliens pouring through, then cut to Kamala cackling.
A good start. They need to show the violence at the border, the filth and crowding, the rising housing costs, and so much more. Plus her comments about mass amnesty, these aren’t criminals, etc.
The Ad is terrific but he should make it plain that open borders is a DEMOCRAT policy. He should be running against the entire DEMOCRAT party which will give him much better down-ballot coattails.

What should I say to all the people here who called me a “pearl clutcher” and a “Rino” and said it would be a total waste to spend money in the Summer, when I said we needed to do exactly what Trump is doing.
Even though attacking the Democrat and driving up their negatives over the Summer has been the hallmark of every successful republican campaign.
Pretty sickening being called names here by fools.
Anyway let’s hope the ads have an effect. Immigration and inflation need to be on everyone’s mind in this election.

I agree. Also, in case they replace her as nominee. 150 Democrats voted against a bill to deport any illegal alien guilty of DUI. This kind of stuff needs to be brought out in ads. These ads need to be on ABC, CBS and NBC.
That’s a terrific ad. Trump and Vance need to hammer this into the ground until Election day.
They need to see the hordes in US cities state by state.

And the NO Tax on tips. You know how many illegals carry their navigator in their suitcase? It’s become the preferred type of job food delivery or Uber.
Illegals are nor legally able to vote nor should they be allowed to vote. But you know democrat cities will ignore that law.
How many illegals who earn tips at their job in USA will vote against Tax Free tips?

Vance and Trump are doing a good job of hitting the issues and not being distracted.
Vance needs a slightly better reply to the “weird” attack.
To wit, “What is really weird is how inflation was so low when Harris took office and now it is out of control. It’s weird that Americans can’t afford to live off their hard earned wages. Well, its not weird, its tragic.”
Tucker is saying that the RATs want to enfranchise (give the vote to) over 22 million illegal aliens.
The New York times is trying to say that showing her dancing at a hip hop event and this ad is racist.
It’s always called an “attack” ad when the conservative does it.
Actually, from the Biden administration and Dim party point-of-view, she's been a spectacular success. They intended to flood the US with millions of illegal aliens who'd vote in high percentages for the Dim party and they succeeded. Probably no greater success in the Biden administration.
Very tired of this issue being couched in terms of a border crisis, or incompetence, as a failure, or in any terms other than this is 1,000% what they intended and 1,000% what they will continue to do if a Dim is elected as the 47th president.
I am saying that the RATs want to disenfranchise citizen voters by allowing 20 million non-citizens to vote against them.
