The French are only the most recent visible instance of the godless facist rule of Europe.

After The Da Vinci Code bestselling book and movie, this is just another step.

Downward.

I kinda figured that, but Andy is such a good writer that it was hard to tell.

If you simply understand “woke” as a synonym for “stupid and crazy,” you won’t go far wrong.

the biggest part of "wokeness" is that it is utterly satanic.

People have gotten on me for watching the Olympics. Understand, I don’t watch the Olympics for the pageantry, for the spectacle (which the French managed to Well and truly eff up with that abomination they put on), or for any of the other reasons that you might think. I watch it for one reason and one reason only.
What’s the reason? Let me give you an example from something that I did last week.

My wife, myself, and our 2 girls traveled to Washington DC for a week long get-together with some friends of ours. We didn’t get to do too much since the friends had a lot of stuff going on and we participated in that. But, we did do one thing on our own that I was really looking forward to. We visited the Smithsonian American History Museum. There is a lot of stuff there, but there was one thing there that I had kinda forgotten was there.

When you walk in the front door, straight ahead of you is a silvery, wavy tableau. Above that are the words ‘The Star Spangled Banner’.
When you enter the exhibit, you walk up a small ramp and it’s rather dark. At the top of the ramp you turn to the left, and as you look to your left,, you see it.......

There at a slight angle, and behind glass, is THE Star Spangled Banner itself. The very flag that, on the morning of September 14, 1814, American lawyer Francis Scott Key saw flying over Fort McHenry after the British had bombarded the fort all night long...and that flag was still there , waving in the morning light. The very flag that inspired him to write the poem ‘The Defense of Fort McHenry’, which eventually became our National Anthem.

I gotta tell you, looking at that big old flag , I teared up and choked up. I guess what I was feeling was good old American pride, knowing that the flag I was looking at represented the brazeness and the wherewithal for our young country to stand up against what was then the biggest Empire in the world......and we came out on top. Despite all of the garbage that’s going on in our country right now, for that short time, I was immensely proud to be an American.

Having said that, the main reason I watch the Olympics is so that when our athletes, and it doesn’t matter what sport it is, come out on top and win the gold medal for the United States of America, I watch so I can see the gold medal presented to our athlete or athletes. And then, not for them to take a knee, or to raise a fist in protest, but when they stand respectfully with their hand over their heart, they raise OUR Flag and OUR National Anthem plays. THAT is what I watch for.
Is the Olympics a big waste? Perhaps. Are the people that put it on trying to get a point across? Perhaps. But when our athletes win, and they raise our flag, and they play ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’.....to me, there ain’t nothing better.
