WASHINGTON, July 24 (Reuters) - The acting director of the U.S. Secret Service will testify before three Senate committees on Tuesday in the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, the committees announced on Wednesday.
The deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation will also testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is holding a hearing in partnership with the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Our government is sad.
Unfortunately, these committee meetings are there for Republicans to play to the camera - competing to see who can be more strident in their condemnation and outrage - without actually doing anything.
Yep, accountability in government is never going to happen.
I hope they ask him why, when all the SS snipers decided to call it a day, why didn’t they at least turn the teleprompters on Crooks. The teleprompters could have taken him out a lot quicker.
Ronald L. Rowe, Jr. replaced her as acting director.
It’s the senate so don’t expect any truth telling from anyone.
and why the SS never held a face to face with local enforcement as per protocol.
Was he also approved by Dr. Jill?
Just saw that on FOX. Very interesting. I guess they didn’t want to give away the plan.
Will his testimony be under oath? Otherwise, it’s just kabuki theater.
Only way to tame these treasonous turds is to zero out their funding, abolish the agencies and hold their passports as flight risks, every last one of them.
When they start squeaking about ‘NATIONAL SECURITY’, remind them that they are under investigation for that exact thing, national security threats.
The real threat is the17th Amendment, turning US Senate elections over to popular vote instead of being chosen by state legislatures.
Effectively, it turned the Senate over to US corporations, which is now international corporations.
That’s where the massive corruption begins and ends in DC.
No investigation will ever get to the bottom of anything as long as there is billions of dollars in bribes taking place.
Get the money out of the Swamp and there may be a chance at justice.
S/S Director Cheatle’s resignation should not deter us from determining the true
significance of the stunning payroll numbers coming out of the Trump shooting.
<><>There are 7100 Secret Service Special agents and 2800 Task Force Officers, plus Uniformed Division officers, Technical Law Enforcement officers, and administrative, professional, and technical personnel on the tax-paid govt payroll. Complete with perks, privileges, eternal healthcare, bonuses, and pensions.
Roughly half of the Secret Service’s $3 billion budget is spent on protective services. It also has a robust cybercrime division, state-of-the-art forensic labs and a threat-assessment center that studies on “how to mitigate and train against threats.”
<><>As of May 23, 2023, the $10 billion tax-subsidized Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had some 10,000 special agents and approximately 35,000 support professionals: intelligence analysts, language specialists, scientists, and information technology specialists.
<><>Mayorkas heads The Dept of Homeland Security which has more than 260,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector on the govt payroll as of Jun 11, 2024.
The Homeland Security bill includes $91.515 billion in total discretionary appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security, including $62.793 billion within the bill’s allocation, $5.837 billion in discretionary appropriations offset by fee collections, “and a $20.261 billion allocation adjustment for major response events.”
<><>Mayorkas’ Homeland Security Investigations division received $2.5 billion tax dollars, an increase of $123 million above fiscal year 2023. The agency apparently “lent” employees to Cheatle and has over 9,800 Special Agents and tactical officers on the tax-paid govt payroll. Complete With tax-paid perks privileges healthcare bonuses and pensions.
<><>The Executive Office of the President employs 1800 tax-paid
individuals, some 584 in the WH alone, on a tax-subsidized budget of $714 million.
Yet, Biden, the FBI, Mayorkas and Cheatle denied Trump’s request for increased security. The Biden regime sent $200,000,000,000 tax dollars to Ukraine to protect its people, but could not find the tax dollars to beef up security for a presidential candidate.
Those govt payroll numbers sound alarmingly suspicious——like the age-old scam of putting phantom names on the payroll with the attendant eye-popping financial windfall, ending with several govt pensions for whoever’s cashing in.
Let’s get Congress to check it out.

Message: Payroll fraud is widespread and easy to pull off on the govt payroll.
There are several methodologies used, including
<><>submitting falsified time sheets,
<><>issuing unauthorized paychecks, healthcare, bonuses, benefits and overtime
<><>enrolling fictitious employees in pension plans.
The govt fraudster simply sets up fictitious employees and arranges for them to receive a salary,
benefits, overtime payments, bonuses and pensions, even though they do not perform any duties.
The fraudster then diverts the fraudulent payments into their bank account or that of an accomplice.
Payroll fraud entails serious crimes.......falsifying govt documents, misappropriation of tax dollars, skimming, larceny, check tampering, check kiting, billing fraud, payroll fraud, reimbursement fraud, pension fraud, misuse of tax dollars, theft of tax dollars, ID fraud, Social Security swindles, IRS fraud.
My question. On the new video it shows police running around the building trying to see on the roof. That’s way before the people on the ground started screaming about him being up there with a gun. So…….why didn’t the snipers on the barn behind Trump notice all the commotion and take him out before he shot? You know they could see him because they’re the ones that eventually shot him.
“7100 Secret Service Special agents”
Authorized manpower is about 8,000. More like 6500 on the payroll(hard to find exact numbers.) Demoralized work force.
I have no clue. If you find out the answer, let me know. 🙂👍
If he tries to duck and weave, he can be the next to resign.
Actually the counter snipers on the roof that we have all seen aren’t the ones who shot the sniper. President Trump was talking about this at one of his recent rallies. The shooter was 140 yards away and the shot that killed him came from 400 yards away according to the President. I could be wrong here but I do believe that’s what he said. It amazes me at how confused the storyline still is.
Mourning.
Spelling not an accident.

I doubt being under oath makes any difference to these people. Look at how many have blatantly lied under oath and nothing happens to them.
