San Francisco officials recommend wearing masks in some indoor spaces

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Department of Public Health is recommending that people begin wearing masks again in some indoor settings. In a post published to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, the department recommended people “consider” wearing masks in crowded indoor spaces.

Jewelry stores, convenience stores, big box outlets, sporting goods outlets....

Also, you might consider shopping after stores have closed. Avoid those disease-spreading crowds.

Nationwide, the number of fentanyl deaths declined modestly in 2023, dropping from 76,226 to 74,702; but they remain high, and fatal overdoses from psychostimulants, including methamphetamine and cocaine, are on the rise
