Should JD Vance be in trouble for comments in 2021 about ‘childless cat ladies’?

Leftist women are getting their knickers in a twist about how JD Vance, in 2021, described Kamala Harris and other childless leftist women. The fact is that Vance’s colorful language accurately describes a real and troubling phenomenon amongst a certain segment of childless women (not I hasten to add, all childless women) in America.

Soon after Vance announced his candidacy for the Ohio Senate stated during a speech that “the childless left” isn’t committed to America’s future because, without offspring, leftists have no direct stake in the future. In response to Tucker Carlson’s inquiries, Vance expanded on what he meant by that observation:

We’re effectively run in this country via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.

And it’s just a basic fact. You look, Kamala Harris. Pete Buttigieg, AOC—the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?

I just wanted to ask that question and propose that, maybe, if we want a healthy ruling class in this country, we should invest more, we should vote more, we should support more people who actually have kids because those are the people who ultimately have a more direct stake in the future of this country.

The obvious suspects—the leftist childless cat ladies who chose careers over having children—were outraged. A Google search revealed that among those most outraged was actress Jennifer Aniston (55 years old), a Democrat, Aniston’s outrage even made The Hill:

Funny that people are more concerned with a cat lady comment Vance made but no concern about VP Harris’s energy comments. End oil leases on federal lands and end off shore oil drilling. That is 38% of US oil production. She also wants to end fracking. If you thought $5/ gallon gas’s was bad you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Perhaps what she is neglecting to mention are the abortions that she had along the way that make it harder to have kids later in life.

A large percentage of women who have difficulty having kids in their late 30s and 40s have had one or more abortions along the way

Both parties do it. It's called opposition research.. Vetting. Looking at everything before you pick your running mate. Having a pre planned answer for everything in your past that will need to be explained.

Then you pick the nominee with the baggage that won't hurt your campaign. Everyone has skeletons. Better to know what it is. Kamala and Shapiro have plenty.

There is no reason we as conservatives cannot mock and ridicule people who make and support the kinds of decisions that Leftist females make, and at that same time, hit them on the issues.

I don’t understand why people think it has to be one or the other.

For example, I am completely against the US Navy providing lessons to Naval personnel on the acceptance of homosexuality, because that I believe that every single precious second (and I do mean single second) spent indoctrinating them on the joys of accepting homosexuality is a single precious second that is NOT spent on training them ship handling, damage control, or weapons systems.

If they wanted to spend that single precious second on something I agree with, such as training in proper equipment maintenance, I wouldn’t have a problem with that because I believe it pulls in the same direction that the goals of a warfighting naval force do.

Indoctrinating for homosexuality and training for effective warfighting do NOT pull in the same direction, so I oppose that. Same for DEI. Same for Affirmative Action. Same for social experimentation that puts females into combat roles as the physical equals of males. Those are antagonistic the the end of effective warfighting.

So, with respect to ridiculing women who forgo raising a family for all the Leftist reasons they give, I believe that pulls in the same direction as deriding them for choosing to support terrorists, destructive economic policies, etc.

I am on the side of Vance and Trump on this. I hope they do more of it in the most derisive and sarcastic manner.

I am not interested anymore in handwringing about ‘unforced errors’. We are at war with the Left. It may not be a hot war in the traditional sense, but it is a war nonetheless.

And in wars of all kinds, hot and cold, people are hurt, people make mistakes, and people say things that in peacetime are considered cruel or uncouth.

Conservatives better get right in their minds about that, because the Left means to win, and they have been winning for some time.
