The United Kingdom will no longer object to the International Criminal Court seeking an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a major foreign policy change for the country’s new left-globalist government.

The British government had submitted a brief to the International Criminal Court (ICC) questioning the body’s jurisdiction to issue arrest warrants for Israel back in June, throwing into question the move by the court’s move to seek the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Now a spokesman for 10 Downing Street, the official office and residence of the British Prime Minister, has made implicit this will not be pursued any further and the new British government, which flipped from globalist centre-right to globalist social democrat left in this month’s national elections.

British broadcaster Sky News relates the spokesman said the new British government position is warrants are purely a decision for the ICC and the UK would no longer offer legal advice. The previous challenge will be withdrawn, Downing Street said.

This is the stuff where history identifies as precursors to world wars and genocides.

Kick every Brit citizen out of the USA and halt any Brit citizen from entering the USA. They are the enemy of civilization and the close friends of murdering barbarians.

Ride with outlaws. Die with outlaws.

They have embraced Muslim terrorists. They are the enemy of America.

Divided we fall.

To be fair, there were always many anti-Semitic types there and even NAZI supporters prior to WWII. Including the Royal Family.

They will now do their best Chamberlin impression before the bloodshed starts.

It's amazing what people will vote for, but communism, socialism, leftism, Marxism will always be popular with those who think they can get something for nothing.

Some of the posts on this thread are quite bizarre, since they assume virtually the opposite of what’s happened here.
Keir Starmer, the new UK Prime Minister, is a long-time supporter of Israel and has vigorously defended Israel’s actions in Gaza - something which lost Labour a good few votes in the recent general election, and without which Labour’s majority would be even larger than it is.
One of Starmer’s first actions on becoming party leader was to purge the parliamentary Labour party of Corbyn and the antisemites. Starmer is married to a Jew, and his children are being brought up as observant Jews.
All that’s happened is that the UK government is refusing to have anything to do with the ICC action. In no shape or form is the UK supporting the case against Netanyahu.

Yes, but the ICC court is anti-Israel. Just like the UN is supposed to be anti-war and conflict, but funded and supported the Oct. 7th murder spree via it’s UNRWA.

Indeed, and therefore what the British government says or doesn't say will not make a ha'porth of difference to the court's decision. 'None of our business' is a sensible line for the UK government to take when the only result of an intervention, however justified it might be, would be to create a political storm at home. Given the mountain of problems it's facing, to deliberately incite that reaction would be foolish.
