Musk is such an odd duck, last week he said on X that he was going to give Trump campaign 50 million a month until the election. And today he is saying he never said that?!?

I like Musk. Most of the time.
But, he’s passing the buck on this subject, or trying to.
If anyone had dared mess with either of my kids in this manner there would have been a reckoning and I don’t mean a legal reckoning.
I knew instinctively and viscerally that this was radical left wing criminal bullshit and I’m surprised that as smart as Musk is he obviously did not.

I wonder if this is why Musk has come over so strongly to our side as of late. In former years, I’d always pictured him as more of a non-political fence-sitter: Taking no sides on either the left or the right.
Then, when Tesla was snubbed by the current administration (and by extension, him also), and now this with his son, it paints a much clearer picture. He’s got some skin in the game now, and it’s personal. And when something becomes personal with someone that’s as wealthy as he is, all of a sudden mountains start to move.
Musk has been a secular person.
Even smart accomplished people will fall for things without solid grounding.
In this case evil lies.
