Vice President Harris raised nearly $50 million in grassroots donations Sunday in the hours after President Biden stepped aside as the nominee and backed her to replace him.
“Since the President endorsed Vice President Harris yesterday afternoon, everyday Americans have given $49.6 million in grassroots donations to her campaign,” said Lauren Hitt, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, in a statement.
The impressive haul is a sign of the grassroots enthusiasm among Democrats in the immediate aftermath of Biden’s decision not to seek reelection, and it reflects Harris’s strength as the likeliest choice to replace the president atop the ticket

Kamala is a certified dolt and most of what she says and does confirms that.
Obama in 2008 raised the equiv of $1.5 billion to win open POTUS seat. Trump is basically the incumbent now, and rule of thumb is that it takes 2x the money to defeat incumbent POTUS, Senator, etc. She now has maybe $500 million on hand, and now must raise at least $1-$2 billion more over the next 10 weeks. I just can’t see her doing that.
Republicans need to get their act together. The democrats are about to get a month of free publicity.

I agree. Anyone who believes that amount was donated after 1pm yesterday is clueless.
A lot of it is probably the money donors were withholding from Biden until he dropped out.
Is there any video / audio of Biden saying he is stepping down and backs Harris?
The big money donors wanted Harris and were ready to make a big splash after Biden quit the race.
This is all kabuki theater.
Time to inundate her with questions on the 25th Amendment. It’s now a national security issue, as there’s 6 months remaining in Biden’s term of office.

Senile Joe Biden is yesterday’s news. On NBC, etc. half the country will now hear about how great Kamala is, and how bad Trump is. Tons of free advertising there.
For that reason alone I think Trump has a real battle ahead of him.
