After that first shot I wouldn’t have waited so long to light him up. But that’s just me.

> “Red Flag” law failed. <
Yea, indeed. As did the personal protection order, and the extreme risk protection order.
By the way, I never heard of an “extreme risk protection order”. So I looked it up. Evidently it’s a fancy way of saying Red Flag Law.

Pushing 70, and still explosively violent.
He waa never going to change for the better.
Suicide by son-in-law?
Good man shoots and kills Bad man with a gun.
Thank God for the 2nd ammendment because, no matter what feel good liberals do, BAD MEN will always be able to get their hands on one of the 400 million firearms floating around in the US.
17 year ‘girlfriend’?
That is called ‘common law wife’ - your state’s laws may vary...
Oddly enough, makes no real difference to the story.
Yup- and also, calling 911 and waiting for police to arrive Instead of defending themselves very likely would have ended with 2 dead innocent people instead of 1 dead maggot criminal
“..the sheriff said that the stepson’s actions appeared justified as Gavitt was going after his ex-girlfriend with a gun that he had already fired..”
This is getting crazy.
This and Trumps near assassination… - we’re not supposed to fire a weapon until the bad guys fire first?!?!? ..and just HOPE they miss???
What am I missing?..
Glad this woman’s life was saved by her stepson, but now that man has to live with having taken the life of another. Even though it was justified, I am sure such will weigh heavy on him.
Let’s hope the intended murder victim will now live her life making better choices.
Pretty old to still have a slave owner complex.
