Hulk Hogan’s dob 08/11/1953. He will be 71 next month.
Dude wrote a book about Demagogues was on CSpan this morning. Says researchers 50 years from now will be studying Trump as a Demagogue. Riiiiiight.
Although I don't doubt historians will be studying Trump and the whole MAGA movement but demagogue has a negative connotation.
a political leader who seeks support by appealing to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people rather than by using rational argument.
He was so awesome. Tearing his shirt to reveal the Trump/Vance undershirt was about the coolest thing I’ve seen in any RNC convention.
That wasn’t your typical RNC. Live rock band that was actually good and didn’t include harps and violins, everyday Americans, Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock.
The energy seemed to never ebb.
Today at work I am wearing my Trump Rally t-shirt from when he was in Anchorage. The RNC seemed like a days long Trump rally. People enjoying themselves, firing each other up, having a good time, optimistic.
I am betting the DNC is going to be gloom & doom, fear, accusations. A white-guilt masochistic orgy of bilge.
Last Sunday, our county patriot Facebook group posted about a Trump flag waving. There were about 30 of us there.
We’re in a reddish county but just barely. The vast majority were supportive and showed it by thrusting their clenched fist and yelling Fight fight fight.
Just found a short background video of his appearance at the convention.
