CNN anchor Chris Wallace said former President Trump “couldn’t keep up the act” in his speech accepting the GOP nomination at the 2024 Republican National Convention late Thursday.
“It seemed as if he couldn’t keep up the act,” Wallace said on CNN in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “And so, we started hearing about ‘crazy Nancy Pelosi’ and cheating on elections and talking about Biden.”
“Frankly, it was a long speech, it was a rambling speech, it was a speech by an older man, and I couldn’t help but think that the people that are gonna be happiest tonight are not the people at Trump headquarters, but the people — the Democrats, maybe at Biden headquarters, maybe at the headquarters of other people who think they’re gonna replace Joe Biden.”
Trump formally accepted his party’s presidential nomination with an address that lasted more than an hour and a half, the longest acceptance speech by a major party candidate.

In a just world Chris Wallace would be held accountable for purposely promoting Biden as a competent President.

That Trump hater never once heard one of Trumps campaign speeches.
The most important point is that Trump has stamina,energy and sharp mind. Brandon has no ability to come close to that if he bothers to go to the DNC convention.
For anyone with the least affection toward DJT, the 90 minutes they spent listening to him speak passed very quickly. Trump is an inherently compelling figure. Unlike Chris Wallace or most of any prior POTUS nominees.

It just occurred to me they haven’t asked Chris Cristy what he thinks yet.
It was a typical Trump rally speech, toned down for the occasion. Trump was not speaking to his base all that much, he already has their votes; he had it geared to the general public.
‘The democrats can’t separate a piece out of it and shout, “See, see, Hitler”!!!
I noticed the MSM talking heads kept using the term, “red meat.”
