I think both are meant to pull in different demographics Hogan (NY/NJ-Madison Square Garden) and Rock (younger crowd and pretty sure he’s a Michigander).
Definitely not the snooze fests that I remember from the 90s and 00s. In fact I think this is the most pumped I’ve seen an RNC since the 80s.

There has been an extremely wide variety of individuals highlighted at this convention and I'm not trying to disparage anyone here but really, is it necessary to bitch about those 'you don't like'? While you may not like Kid Rock's music but other than that, do you know anything about him? or Amber Rose? So chill ... this is what 'inclusion' really means! These people love America and to me, THAT is what counts. They're my fellow patriots...and they are bringing in the youth who are patriots too.

Well it is hard to get excitied about either Bush, Dole, McCain and Romney. Sarah Palin added some energy to the 2008 race but she was attacked by McCain/Romney wing of the GOP.
