I DID NOT NOT NOT! USE THE WORD “BROWN” in MY post.
If you read read Cronos’ post to me, you will see that HE added a whole parenthetical phrase into the middle of what I posted. HE used the words “white” and “brown”. I DID NOT. I WOULD NOT.
Obviously, he tried to “set me up”. Apparently, it worked because you fell for it.
You asked, “Do you know how many ‘brown’ people in the world are Christian?”
I absolutely do! Many of my friends from seminary, my cousins, and my cousins’ kids, are missionaries to brown and black people on foreign mission fields. Just yesterday, my cousin and his wife received an award from their mission board for 50 years of faithful service.
You should see my dinner table at holidays. White, black, brown.
I will request an administrator to remove Cronos’ despicable post to me. You don’t quote someone and insert your own nasty editorials.
If this is what happened, I sincerely apologize.
But you are still on the hook for blatant religious prejudice, with which I doubt very much the Founders would agree. Such brilliant and farseeing men could not have failed to envision that the day would come when Americans would be of many different faiths. (For instance, there were Jews in America almost from the beginning, and most of them supported our Revolution.)
Is it your argument that displaying religious bigotry is somehow better than race based bigotry? Surely then you should have no problems with Christians being persecuted in non-christian countries, after all it would only be religious bigotry codified by law.
