Rep. Adam Schiff on Wednesday became the most prominent elected Democrat to publicly call on President Joe Biden to drop out the race.
“While the choice to withdraw from the campaign is President Biden’s alone, I believe it is time for him to pass the torch. And in doing so, secure his legacy of leadership by allowing us to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming election,” Schiff said in a statement.

Given Biden’s current mental and physical state he will be lucky to make it to the end of his term. There is no question he will not be able to complete another four years provided he is re-elected.

The problem here is that self-serving Joe has tons of
campaign money socked away in numerous offshore accounts.
But downticket Dems are hurting b/c their campaign funds and sources
are dwindling from donors’ being duped about Biden’s mental state.
The only possible scenario I can think of -
Total lockdown, caused by a cataclysmic event, that invokes martial law, vote-by-mail ONLY, complete censorship.
Few, if any, dems would want to risk such a thing. Biden might.

All the noise about dumping Biden started from Congressional Dems. Pelosi, because of all the trust fund baby money she pulls in for their campaigns, is popular with Congressional Dems.
Pelosi desperately wants to be US House Speaker again. She is 84 so she does not have a lot of chance left to be Speaker. Biden is doing massive down ticket damage
So it makes sense Pelosi wants Biden gone to stop the down ticket hemorrhaging. At this point it doesn’t matter who is on the ticket for the Dems as long it stops the damage Biden is doing down ticket
At this point, I think the Dems are not planning on winning the US National election. What I think they are doing is damage control, trying to stop the down ticket Dems from being clobbered in a Biden wipe out.
