Seen for the first time since his son attempted to assassinate Trump, Matthew Crooks was pictured at the family home in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania as federal investigators visited Monday morning.
Clearly exhausted, his eyes showing the strain and the trauma of the past few days, Crooks opened the door to several members of the FBI who entered the unassuming brick home shortly before ten o’clock.
It was barely 48 hours since the Crooks family’s world was torn apart with the shocking events of Saturday afternoon when son Thomas Matthew, 20, opened fire on the former president as he addressed a rally of supporters in Butler, Pennsylvania.

I saw an interview of his classmate. He said the shooter was bullied, every single day.
It makes sense if the young man scrubbed all his social before acting out but forgot the Discord.
Western PA is a relatively low cost area.
This house is probably below average quality in its community.
If I was making $$$ and wanted to keep it that is the house that I would live in.
The parents, both college educated, had a son who was winning math scholarships but skipped college to fix meals in an old age home. They knew something was off with their son and most likely had him on SSRI drugs.
This will be another instance of a shooting by a young person with no previous violent incidents, where all reasons will investigated except for the use of the untouchable SSRI.
Speaking to CNN in the immediate aftermath of his son’s identification,
“Father is a shrink. Mother is social worker. So, yes; they’re nuts.”

There was an almost identical situation in our neighborhood years ago with the parents’ having similar jobs. Their kid was a real hellian. The parents were in total denial.

It was documented that he was a troubled kid. He needed help, obviously.
It's been all over TV, the kid was bullied because he was odd, the kids called him "the school shooter", listen to the news.
Because he was odd, they called him "the school shooter". kid needed help, parents potentially ignored it.

I don’t think that would have any legal weight. His classmates have already said he was a loner and bullied. There are lots of kids now who present in ways that probably make their classmates say such things. If there was proof that he actually had threatened to kill someone, that would be another matter.
