Not just any roof. It was THE most likely and convenient roof for a sniper to be on.
Definition of insanity:
Believing over and over again that the assassin (not available for questioning) acted alone.
The layer upon layer of excuses is pretty compelling condemnation of either a grossly incompetent Secret Service or one that actually wanted Trump to be assassinated. It is truly one or the other, and it looks more like an attempted politically motivated assassination.
It would be interesting if Wikileaks published some leaked data or some other source found and published such data.

I have to agree. I have been watching this whole thing unfold for a few days now and with each new piece of information there have been no satisfactory answers. I like the one from the head of the SS that they did not put an agent on the roof because of the slope. That is just so lame.

My guess is that the CS team smelled a rat, but refrained from taking a proactive shot because they’d been led to believe that local LEOs were in control of the building. We need USSS to produce the CS team at once (before something happens to them) for questioning. Separately, before they can agree on a story.
They ARE acting... They're acting exactly like the Biden regime and the deepstate wants them to... They're already buying the left's version of everything hook line and sinker. They just want to ignore all the idiosyncrasies of this and move on... As usual. I don’t know what is going on. I thot Trump had his own security since before he ran the 1st time. It will only take a few questions that President Trump can ask to crack it open. I would tell the SS that I will have a completly new crew. Now. Make it happen.
