This election cycle is different with Trump. Recall him speaking at the Libertarian National Convention and now, yesterday, inviting and giving the Teamster president an extended prime-time slot. He was the keynote speaker last night, the longest speaker, and he had a lot to say. I wonder what other surprises we get this week.

I think I’m still in shock, though. I wake up, throughout the night reliving that horrible moment ... when I was typing a reply, on the rally thread ... and, yelled out ... He’s been shot! Hubby came running in.

Then, the crazy seconds, right after ... then, by the Grace of God ... when he stood up.

I posted about a gentleman named Vince Fusca, who attends so many rallies. He was seated directly behind RPOTUS. You can see the utter shock, on his face, in the pics that captured the shooting.

He said that when RPOTUS stood back up, after being down for a few seconds, it was like a resurrection. He said that’s the best word he can come up with, to describe what he saw.

Keep in mind that about half of Nikki voters were either leaning or full fledged Democrats.

Many of them are deeply troubled that President Trump is still alive.

You are probably right that good portion of Nikki’s voters were democrats. So what about the republicans who voted for her? Those could make a difference in swing states. Never kick any voting group out if you want to win elections.

There is always the risk of gaining one vote and losing two in the process.

Many folks in politics have had to learn that lesson the hard way.

If folks think their votes are taken for granted some will not get mad—they will get even.

I am not and never have been a Haley supporter but I think you are off base. First, Haley had more success in closed primaries, which I admit I am surprised about. Here, using ChatGPT 4o:

• Open Primaries (23 states): Average % Vote for Trump: 77.7%, Average % Vote for Haley: 20.8%
• Closed Primaries (27 states): Average % Vote for Trump: 75.1%, Average % Vote for Haley: 22.5%

Second, I seriously doubt any or even more than a couple would be troubled by Trump surviving an assassination attempt. That is not something most Americans would even remotely consider. And all of this type of talk is very troubling and divisive. Consider that President Trump invited her, I say we respect that and listen to what she has to say.

Like others, Ambassador Haley will very likely have a role in President Trump's next administration, she was very loyal to him while serving as his UN Ambassador.

Besides, I am confident she won't pull a Cruz and stab him in the back at the convention like Ted Cruz did President Trump in 2016.
