I never said anything nevertrump. In fact, I posted many pro-Trump articles recently.
Surprising number of people read his book, Hillbilly Elegy, including a couple I sat next to in hospital waiting room.
His wife is from India and their kids are not lily white, which should appeal to some minority voters.
I can’t agree for various reasons I’m not going to get into now. Eough to say the two are like night and day.

Vance has massacred Trump with insults in the past, saying things like:
- “Trump might be America’s Hitler”
- “Trumpism being Cultural Heroin”
- “That those who voted for Trump were idiots”...
...and many, many more outrageous insults against Trump.
Trump is making an unholy alliance here... History has always showed how badly those contra-nature alliances ends up : in sad and devastating treason.
Trump needed someone to trust, but instead he chose Vance based on other unknown parameters. Yes, Vance is representing Ohio, that’s a plus. Vance also represents / represented(?) many never-Trumpers. A way to take some of those voters?
Unless... Trump’s technique is simply to “keep your enemies closer than your friends...”
That is the ONLY logic I see here.
