I’d make Trump more “impeachment proof” than any of the other candidates mentioned. For that matter, most of us on FR would as well. Just saying.

I can’t predict the future but I like him the best of the choices. I think if he demonstrates loyal and committment to MACA he would be a good pick in 2028.
For me Rubio, Scott, Bergum, Haley are snakes. Youngkin seems RINO.
I like Ben Carson but he doesn’t have the fire to be President. IMO anyone picked for VP has to be able to carry the Presidency. Youngkin is backed by McCarthy & Rove and is supposed to be very popular with democrats.
Well now we ride the Trump/Vance train. He likes one syllable names.
The fact that Burgum was even in the running at all disturbs me.
I’m pleased. We all come with baggage but IMO Vance is the best of the lot.

I like converts. Reagan said a conservative is a liberal that has been mugged by Reality. Once that hits you there’s no going back. Trump proved himself and has many converts now
