MSNBC has elected to air an NBC News special report rather than Morning Joe Monday morning, after former President Donald Trump was the victim of an assassination attempt on Saturday.
The show, which features several panelists and has been critical of the former president, was not aired, but the show's X account did say it would return on Tuesday. A CNN report alleges the network pulled the show Monday due to concerns over a potential inappropriate comment about the assassination attempt by one of the guests on the show.
The Washington Examiner has reached out to MSNBC for comment.

For your own network to have such little confidence in your ability to conduct your program civily they premptively pull it off the air has to be a first. Even Dr. Johnny Fever was allowed to say “booger” before he was fired...
They let him play with matches every day and now suddenly realize he’s apt to light one? Where do they think the smell of sulphur comes from every day?
When will they pull The View and all the rest of them on MSNBC.

Scarborough is an attorney. He knows it’s in his very best interest to keep his mouth shut because he could be liable for any statements he makes on this and he’s made statements before in the past about Trump.
All the big Democrats are lawyers and they’ve all clammed up.
They’ve clammed up because they know they could be in hot water.
More like 24 hours to get their stories all straight.

For statements a lot of them have made they know they could all very well find their worthless asses in a sling.
I am inclined to think that CNN, Morning Joe, The View, and any other media source has been instructed to tone it down massively. No more ‘Trump is Hitler’, ‘Put a bulls-eye on him’, etc comments will be tolerated for the near future.
This is a CYA move as all of these networks have had people utter soft threats towards Trump. After the shooting any continued commentary along these lines could trigger lawsuits and possibly a loss of broadcasting license.
I don’ trust them either. But I am hopeful. Maybe I am a fool but I am trying to find the good in people.
