BUTLER, Pa. (AP) — The man who was killed at a rally for former President Donald Trump was Corey Comperatore, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro announced Sunday.
Comperatore was a former fire chief from the area who loved his family, Shapiro said.
“Corey died a hero. Corey dove on his family to protect them last night,” the governor said.

I didnt know Corey personally but I follow a lot of Trump supporters on twitter and it turns out I had followed Corey as well..I did not know him but this hurts, just a good man his daughter wrote how he took a bullet for she and her mother..RIP Corey

I’ve noticed many outlets won’t post his photo. He was so obviously a kind and gentle person. And that would humanize Trump supporters too much.

This morning I encountered a YouTube message from a leftist sliming Comperatore as an anti-Hamas bigot. To say the least, the leftist did not regret Compeatore’s death. I’m sure we’ll see more of the same.
