A man with a rifle could be seen on a rooftop minutes before shots were fired at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania, a witness has told the BBC.
Greg, the witness, said the man was armed with a rifle and had crawled on top of a building just outside the event in Butler County on Friday evening.

"We noticed the guy bear-crawling up the roof of the building beside us, 50ft away from us," he said.
"He had a rifle, we could clearly see a rifle.
"We're pointing at him, the police are down there running around on the ground, we're like 'Hey man, there's a guy on the roof with a rifle'... and the police did not know what was going on."
Greg said he pointed at the gunman for three to four minutes to try to alert the authorities.
"We were telling the police, we were pointing at him for the Secret Service who were looking at us from the top of the barn."

Are you referring to Jason Chaffetz’s criticism of the Secret Service’s poor surveillance of the rooftops? I agree with Jason Chaffetz.
Or maybe they were told to wait ?
They have drones for that now. Much quieter so they don’t drown out the speech. I read somewhere that they didn’t have any drones deployed at this event.

Tonight Dan Bongino said on Fox News “They should have had helicopters and drones” before the sniper shot at Trump.
