Billionaire Elon Musk, who reportedly had donated to a super PAC working to elect Donald Trump as president, made his backing of Trump official following the apparent shooting.
"I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery," he said on X. In a subsequent post, he said, "Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt."

It seems that Elon Musk knows American history, along with a lot of other things. I will never buy one of his lousy cars, but on the whole I like him.
Been a while since I have visite FR, and I see the abject stupidity still occasionally rises here. The more things change...

Well, you sure haven’t been missed at all. I see in your world it’s ‘stupid’ to have an opinion and share it... Maybe you belong elsewhere where only opinions you agree with our allowed?
I know many people here dislike him because he makes electric cars and gets government subsidies to do so but he does a whole lot of other things like building a space program that puts NASA to shame as well as creating many thousands of jobs in other industries. Not to mention buying a failing social media network and turning it into a bastion of free speech.
Elon has certainly done a lot of good with those government subsidies. I'd rather have our tax money go to him than to all those deadbeats shuffling over our border and going on welfare.

You clearly haven’t been following Elon Musk’s political leanings. He wasn’t very political until recently, but as the evil of the Left has accelerated, he’s paid more attention and moved more and more toward the Right. I don’t think it’s due so much to him having an innate political philosophy, but more that he tackles each issue as it comes up and decides what seems best for the country and its people, and of course all of those choices, when properly viewed, fall on the side of conservatism. He’s just a very smart person who views issues objectively, and anyone who does that will naturally decide that the more conservative choices are best.

Funny thing is that I've heard Liberals now refuse to buy Tesla because of Elon Musk's politics.
Alyssa Milano traded in her Tesla because she didn’t want a car associated with a hater. She bought a Volkswagen instead.
