I was at the rally in the south Bronx- there were helicopters and drones buzzing over our heads well before the rally and during the rally. This shooter was on a wide open rooftop- but they just happened to not see him...
My preliminary wild guess is that this was an Antifa guy who took a 22LR rifle from his dad’s bedroom closet, and decided to change the course of history.
Eh, perhaps we will never know the real truth. And as others here have noted, how could the shooter be on a rooftop, and not be noticed by the Secret Service? It would seem to me that securing rooftops would be taught on the first day in the SS academy.
The only redeeming thing about this is that it shows that Biden’s people can’t do anything right. If H.W. Bush was involved, the shooter would have gotten a better shot off.
Another witness says shooter was on roof of the AGR Building. Gonna see if I can find that on the maps.

Why the heck did the Secret Service take what looked like three (3) attempts to start to move Trump. They kept in the Kill Zone for much too long. Heads should roll on that Secret Service Team.
As it should be, and now the criticism of the huge SS failure today are beginning to be heard on the news. No way a sniper should have been able get onto a rooftop and take a position with a view of the podium where President Trump was speaking.
Because the Secret Service detail for an ex President is much smaller than that for a sitting President.
.22 can be very deadly. Like in this case, one innocent is dead and another innocent was seriously wounded.
The video might be of the audience person who died was killed by one of the bullets that missed Trump.

Oh, yes. Totally agree. Any caliber can be deadly at darn near any range.
But no one goes deer hunting with a 22. No one except possibly a total amateur. And that was my point here. If the shooter really used a 22 here, he is most probably an amateur.

It killed an attendee that was shot in the head with that 22 rifle.
An ER Doctor attending the Rally offered and provided assistance to the attendee
described what he saw and did. Including seeing brain matter, as attendee
was shot in head. So that .22 rifle was capable of killing, especially with Hollow
Point rounds.

It was reported by media as being an AR type weapon.
Typical .223 Remington (5.56x45 NATO) are 22 caliber.
People with background in the Secret Service know this has been handled very poorly by the Slo Joe Administration.
Dan Bongino spent many years with several administrations, wait a few days and he will blow the smoke away on this one.
I’ve seen other reports it was an AR type rifle (223/5.56 - , close to 22 caliber but MUCH more powerful and much longer range).
