A 22 long rifle was reported. Which, I think, indicates that the shooter was an amateur.

.22 can be very deadly. Like in this case, one innocent is dead and another innocent was seriously wounded.

Oh, yes. Totally agree. Any caliber can be deadly at darn near any range.

But no one goes deer hunting with a 22. No one except possibly a total amateur. And that was my point here. If the shooter really used a 22 here, he is most probably an amateur.

My preliminary wild guess is that he’s an Antifa type who took a 22 rifle from his dad’s bedroom closet. But who knows? There could be layers of intrigue here, layers that us peons will never know about.
