The New York Times is a specious news source. Every word it publishes is either a lie or projection. Article presented for entertainment purposes only.

Ross needs to go back to contemplating the seam in Obama’s pants. His “analysis” is useless

Lol.Trump is more likely to put Cheney in his administration than in a military tribunal.

I won’t read any analysis of Trump from the NYT.

the whipsaw, the forays toward normalcy and the reversion to a darker mean.

I guess this is the kind of thing you have to say when you’re a kept conservative at the NYT.

He recently made a big show of repudiating Project 2025, a Heritage Foundation blueprint stuffed with severely conservative proposals, and then he produced a Republican Party platform stripped of some gun-rights and pro-life language and pledging to protect Medicare and Social Security from any kind of cuts. Cutting Medicare and Social Security I can get behind. I know Trump wanted the platform to respect Dobbs, but what did he change in it about gun rights?

Oh yes it has (brought clarity). He is going to be a dictator, imprisoning all Dimocrats, and will never resign. That’s what the MSM has assured us. Trump is going to reign like Hitler.

FYI, Douthat is the “conservative” editorialist at the NYT. He replaced Bill Kristol in that position.
