The Rs should take the Senate this cycle, mostly because of the number of open seats and the shear number of contested seats. There hasn’t been a set up like this in a decade.

The reason the Ds are freaking out right now is that the down ticket from Biden is seeing the chances of the Rs retaining the House increase. Jeffries was planning on being Speaker and that appears to be slipping away.

If the down ticket fails this time, it would make the “Red Wave” failure of 2022 look tame by comparison.

In typical Republican fashion, I expect our side to overplay their hand and push hard on abortion and things like religion in school—two areas they should avoid. This is especially true in purple states.

It is way, way too early to be measuring any offices in DC for drapes.

The larger Trumps win the greater the chance that his coattails will drag some house and senate seats across the line to victory.

It would be nice to have house, senate and presidency starting in 2025. First order of business needs to be federal election reform passed ASAP while we still can.

Your fears are allayed. Trump and the RNC are officially ignoring the most divisive issue facing our nation as they have removed their pro abortion policy from their platform.
