According to a 2024 Wikipedia article, 3% of the population of Metro Detroit is Muslim, while 67% is Christian, 2% is Jewish, 1% is Hindu, and 1% is Buddhist. In total, around 300,000 Muslims live in the area, which is less than 2% of the nation’s population. However, Muslims make up more than 40% of two cities in the Metro Detroit region, Dearborn and Hamtramck.
