Most of them, no, I don’t favour them. There have been a few changes I regard as positive.

But they’re not that hard to navigate for the most part. I actually might be more impressed if they were to be honest. Because the way it is, it just makes most things a little more inconvenient without actually changing much else.

Fair enough. Thank you for your time and patience. I wish you and your nation well.

Firearm ownership in Australia has always been dominated by things like .22 rifles and basic shotguns.

I've learned that the "precision rifle" trend has found popularity in Australia. I can see that, given both the laws and the terrain. I hope that interest continues, because marksmanship that can put hits on target at 1000+ yards is never wasted, even if the rifle that the military pulls out of mothballs to put in a soldier's hands isn't quite as accurate. It's the skills that count.

Take a look at the article. It makes the point that in Melbourne (which was the heavily locked down place during COVID), less would fight.

Americans seem to have wound up with the impression that Melbourne was the norm in Australia, rather than the exception.

Since it's creation in 1901, Australia has fought as an ally to America in every war/conflict in which the US sought support.

They are our only ally who can make that claim.

Just to let you know, about forty years ago one of my cousin's daughters was getting married in a fairly large Church wedding.   I was in the parking lot and saw guys around a car in the parking lot.   One of the Groomsmen had his car trunk opened showing off his supply of firearms.   He had a fully automatic MAC-10 and an Uzi among other illegal weapons.   All of the Groomsmen had been firing them the day before.

That's to say the gun culture here is exactly like all of the things you might have heard.

But other than that, you stay frosty Mate.

China will be money source and Russia is the new “city upon a hill” for what used to be called the non aligned or third world countries. All traditional societies look to Moscow for support against globohomo economic and political tyranny. BRICS, SCO, OPEC+, Global South are the movements of the future. The Decadent Globohomo West accounts for about 15% of the world’s population. The other 85% is quickly becoming allied against us. The fact that two has been, collapsed colonial powers with populations California will soon exceed sit on the UN Security Council while India does not shows how out of date the post war era is today.
