Democrat donors are withholding $90M to largest pro-Biden super PAC if he stays on ticket: report

A number of donors have told the largest super PAC supporting President Biden that they are keeping their wallets and checkbooks closed while the 81-year-old remains the presumptive Democratic nominee.

The frozen pledges to Future Forward are worth approximately $90 million — and include multiple contributions of $10 million or more, the New York Times reported Friday, citing two sources familiar with the situation.

One donor told the outlet that he had rebuffed approaches by Future Forward for contributions multiple times since Biden shocked the world with his disastrous performance in his June 27 debate with presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The report is another indication that Democratic bundlers have soured on Biden since the debate and have been agitating for the party to replace the president with another candidate — likely Vice President Kamala Harris. *** The identities of the rebel donors were kept private, while an associate of another bundler, billionaire LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, ripped the move as a mistake.

“A funding freeze is a problematic strategy at this point in the election cycle,” said the associate, Rae Steward, who called on donors to give instead to progressive “issue groups” who are “agnostic about who is at the top of the ticket.” .*** In one OpenLabs poll taken in the aftermath of the debate, the president fared the worst compared to his Democrat counterparts. Adjusted for name recognition, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg came out on top with 301 expected electoral votes, followed by Michigan.Gov. Gretchen Whitmer with 290.

Biden got only 223 electoral votes, while Harris came in at 240 and California Gov. Gavin Newsom got 235.

The stock market keeps going up the more likely that Trump will be President again.

That would be both tempting and delicious to observe the hysteria, but better not.
Operation Chaos almost worked too well with Hillary.

The walls are closing in on his solitary confinement mind for the remainder of his pathetic life. The loser will probably lash out in anger a couple of more times.

Nothing speaks as loud to a democrat as money does. All of their so-called issues mean nothing to them compared to fungible (steal-able) cash.

Yeah, they’re that corrupt, and everything they claim to stand for is just a vehicle to get money to pilfer. How do you think they get so massively rich on public office salaries?

Oh BOY!!! You can hear the screaming from D.C. now. Most of these pols have a buddy handling the ad agency work and get a sweet dividend under the table. A House candidate can pocket 4 to 5 million every 2 years with their eyes closed. When you take away donor money these cats fall apart.

If the ad agency (15%) is not a “buddy” more than likely it’s a relative or a brother-in-law. The system has been corrupt since Christ was a PFC.

The stock market keeps going up the more likely that Trump will be President again.

Not necessarily. The investors want to keep the gravy train moving.

With such blatant attempted corruption of an election, maybe the Supreme Court might void all campaign finance laws since they obviously don’t work.

That might allow Trump to be able to void Bragg’s conviction.
