Paris — The famous medieval cathedral in the city of Rouen in western France was evacuated Thursday when a fire broke out in the spire. The Notre Dame of Rouen Cathedral is undergoing renovations and video from the scene showed thick smoke rising from the spire, which is partially covered in scaffolding.
Fire trucks raced to the scene to save the cathedral, made famous by impressionist painter Claude Monet who depicted the imposing structure in a series of paintings in the 1890s.

Years ago there was a WWII film called, “Is Paris burning”? A true story about the Nazi withdrawal from Paris and Hitler’s order to destroy Paris that was not followed up on by a Nazi officer who just could not do it.
Who would of thought, 80 years later that Paris will burn by the French themselves or at least the Radical Left combined with the Jihadists?

Lots of churches have burned in France in the last few years. Lots of churches. Few or No mosques.

I don’t know. The fire is really far up and would be a helluva climb to get there.
