Nice chart. Where does a copper penny fit in this scheme?

When I was a little kid I saw a copper penny in the electric fuse box. Tried to pull it out and the shock knocked me down and across the basement floor. That made me a whole lot smarter later on about doing electrical work. And my father finally bought more fuses to keep handy instead of using copper pennies when a fuse blew.

Someone should use electric shock therapy on Joe Biden. Doubt it would make him smarter but might shut him up.

Haha, of course you're right.!

When I was a boy we lived in a small apartment which had two S-type fuses... the type you screw in. A penny was a perfect fit behind the fuse. It would bridge the gap between the center part of the socket and the outside, held in by a blown fuse. Although, we didn't use it. And, the penny was made of pure copper, too.

Lately, I've been feeling that the 21st century is rolling out at a dizzying speed.
