Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., held back Wednesday from a full-throated endorsement of President Joe Biden staying in the 2024 race, saying that it's up to him whether to run but warned the clock is ticking.
"It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short," Pelosi said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" when asked if Biden had her support to be the head of the Democratic ticket.

The former speaker suggested that she's told her Democratic colleagues to "hold off" on stating their opinions publicly about Biden staying in the race.

Seems to me that ive been reading of story after story of Biden deciding. Interesting that they are refusing to accept his decision.
Um, he decided already and told them to “challenge me at the Convention” yesterday. I guess she just sobered up and hasn’t seen the memo yet.

A Democrat member of congress was on Fox this morning saying that they are essentially split, 1/3 want Biden to quit, 1/3 want him to stay, and 1/3 are resigned to losing in November. Biden will not have a good legacy after November.

Carter was well-meaning and compared to Biden, is among the best Democrats. Biden checks off being worst in every single category we might judge presidents.

Reading between the lines: She wants him out and hopes Jill and family wakes up to reality and has him quit so she and other Dems don’t have to force the issue. The clock is ticking. I think they lose no matter what so it’s all good.
