Rather, Democrats have simply come to the realization that they have no better option. And so a man so diminished that he shouldn’t be doing the job of president will simply continue to be their candidate to do the job through 2028.

The news has been so good lately my brain is having a hard time digesting all of it. I have been in the left wing propaganda biased information filter ‘on’ mode for decades now. I am having a hard time turning the filter off.
They support Biden because they believe he and the policies that come with him are a better option for the country than is Trump, and the policies that come with Trump. Not just because of "power".
The issue is that their preferred vision for the country is vastly different from ours.
I think the answer is no, any way you cut it. For example, even a completely faithful transcript of that debate cannot capture how badly Biden did.
More than that! His fellow traitors know that ChiComjoe, as a traitor, is unfit to serve. And that's why traitors want Traitorjoe re-elected.
One seriously doubts that Biden plans to really, really run in Nov; and, one suspects most highly that this is part of a flurry of artificial drama meant to pique interest in who are the replacements. That and to extend the timing as long as possible to avoid that bothersome "democracy" thingie, in which the Dems might actually vote on their nom.
All just my guesses, so far they've been correct.
Their demonically fueled hatred of Trump is driving this.

Reference: A typical day for a Parkinson’s patients includes slowness, rigidity, balance problems, falling, low volume of voice, difficulty being understood, bladder problems, bowel problems, and sometimes cognitive decline and paranoia.

I still think he will not be their nominee. A staffer in the WH will tell enough horrible stories/ to get him to step down.
And by that decision they are admitting openly that someone ELSE is filling the role of ‘President’
