“ No, I’m looking at the non-politically.”

Bull squeeze.

The Democrats are no longer interested in the goodwill of the country at all. It seems they simply want to make life miserable for anyone they perceive as an enemy, or even just anyone who has respect for America as founded. They’re useless, and dangerous.

Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) are calling on Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to determine if Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas violated federal ethics and tax laws.

Are Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) continuing the racist lynching of Clarence Thomas?

Are Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) American Communists?

Wyden is a POS on female hormones for prostate cancer who is destroying Oregon and thumbing his nose at the Constitution and is responsible for AVR (automatic voter registration) through medicaid, driver’s licenses and medicare for every illegal alien in the country.

You are correct.

Reno always takes the subversive, leftist side of the argument or, when he rarely concedes, adds a leftist, globohomo qualifier like “we must hold ourselves to a higher standard.”

The first thing is that the special counsel law expired. Garland can no long appoint one for anything as far as I know. But democrats don’t believe in the rule of law.

Name one special counsel that was anything more than an expensive scam on the American people. Everyone them has a predetermined result that they much reach. They are established in order to protect certain entities and nothing more. And they are not independent. The AG still controls them.

If it wasn't a conservative justice, I am quite sure you'd be agreeing with me.

Whatever. The integrity of our justices should be above politics. You seem to miss a point that I point out he should retire after Trump is re-elected so that he gets to replace him.

No, I wouldn’t be agreeing with you. You can bark at me all you want but I am absolutely convinced that you are opposed to most of the beliefs held by the majority of Free Republic.

How about appointing a special counsel to look into who murdered Justice Antonin Scalia?

Justice Thomas is an honest, Christian person-and the one on the court with the biggest balls-he does not care if an opinion sets anyone’s hair on fire as long as it follows the constitution. I would love to see him as chief justicer-better than squishy rino Roberts. He is in excellent health and apparently likes his job...

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/25/us/politics/clarence-thomas-rv-loan-senate-inquiry.html

Above is a little more information on the loan. The loan is loosy goosy and besides a loan agreement the follow-up looks bad.

Loans are one of the favorite money transfer schemes, they slip off the books from year to year.

You can give anyone any amount of after tax money but it needs to be documented and will adjust your estate tax exemption if you go the gift route.

Forgiven debt and interest is clearly a taxable event.

This may be a “gotcha” or clearly a negotiation or blackmail event knowing the deep state.

The good news if it is applied here, there are a lot of politicians to go after. The rats have placed their bet that they are in power and can hide all of theirs.

I get it. “We must hold ourselves to a higher standard” because we love virtue signaling more than vanquishing our enemies.

The rural area I live in has a large population of snowbirds in cabins and RV parks every Winter-One of the big RV retailers out here lets semi-famous/well known snowbirds “buy” their most expensive RV’s to live in here as long as they give out business cards and try to recruit customers for the RV dealer when they travel around the area-money may or may not change hands when the famous one departs for home in the North at the end of the season in April. The Thomas deal sounds like one of those deals-which is legal-I doubt that the NY Slimes is privy to justice Thomas’s financial/tax info-likely speculation and 3d hand info...

And these scumbag Democrats want to expand the court adding liberal justices so every ruling will favor their socialistic progressivism. Bah humbug.

“....We are alarmed by reports of your wife’s exceptionally large stock holdings, totaling $3 million, in four of the Big Five technology companies that you are tasked with overseeing – Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google,” a group of national Republicans, led by New York Young Republican Club President Gavin Wax, wrote to Wyden in a letter obtained by Just the News on Thursday

Wyden’s latest financial disclosure covers 2022, and it shows that his wife, Nancy Wyden, owns at least $1.5 million in the four major companies, but may have as much as $3 million in investments. She also made between $15,001 and $50,000 in dividends from Apple that year
