A fundraiser and organizer of wealthy Democrats is dishing on why Joe Biden won't drop out of the 2024 election.
Dmitri Mehlhorn, who organizes wealthy Biden boosters like LinkedIn CEO Reid Hoffman, made noise last week when he said that either a 'dead' or 'comatose' Biden would be better than replacing him on the ticket with Kamala Harris.
Mehlhorn said in an interview Monday that Biden is still determined to run and win in 2024, that the polls saying the president is losing are wrong and what motivates him to stay in the race.

Unfortunately, I think that's still true.
His inner circle is telling Biden that if HE had run in 2016, He would have beaten Trump. And, the polls are wrong. So in Biden’s world, he would be crazy not to run again. The difference will be the power elites in the party. Biden makes one more bad gaffe or appearance of weakness, he will be dumped.
It doesn’t matter who the democrats run, they will lie, cheat and steal to win the election. President Trump needs to win the battleground states by more than 5% to overcome their cheating. The 81 million vote fraud from 2020 will probably increase a few million this year. Democrats don’t care how corrupt they look as long as they win. The republicans better be ready to fight if they want to win this election.
So, we're screwed, right?

I hope not but I don’t have much confidence in the republican party. They knew Biden didn’t win in 2020 and they did nothing to help Trump. I don’t think Trump can win unless he beats Biden by more votes than the democrats can create. Trump needs to get close to 25% of the black vote in the cities. If he can do that I don’t think the democrats can beat him

The dirty little secret about Agnew was that what he did was typical of most governors in the country—and btw still is today.
My grandfather owned a construction company and got state contracts in another state (CT) by giving briefcases of cash to the governor and other leading politicians.
They actually met for the payoffs at a hot-dog stand twenty miles away from Hartford.
My grandfather was trying to recruit me for the business and took me to the hot-dog stand so I would know where to make the payoffs.
As soon as I got finished with my formal education I fled to the opposite coast!
