I enjoy riding in this area. I have a CWP and will be carrying. Why should I bring a can of spray up against a weapon? Usually I do not chamber a round, but I might start in this area.
I don't think I recall ever seeing a police person in this area. BLM attacked the Asheville PD and they have been short of officers since 2020.
Besides the DA will probably charge you for using the wasp spray not as intended, as a weapon.
deez yutes.
Doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Buncombe County (Ashville) in 2020 went 60% Biden, 38% Trump.
Rat World
These guys are so brave they gang up on women! Couldn’t even take on a woman on 1 on 1 to make it a fair fight!
There are cameras everywhere. They probably will be identified.
Meanwhile in the main city park there is a historical monument blaming whites for lynching blacks about 100 years ago.
The following is my opinion, and my practice, and should not be construed as anything else:
I believe that carrying without a round in the chamber is not a good idea. I believe that an emergency situation, where I must bring my sidearm out to resolve a life/health threatening attack, is likely to occur under far less than ideal circumstances. Specifically, I may not have the full use of my "support hand". Consequently, I believe that I must carry my sidearm in a condition such that I can easily use it one-handed. Therefore, I always carry with a round in the chamber.
My mom is in skilled nursing in Candler. The times we would go to downtown Asheville we almost always encountered crazies or people who were dicey. I stay close to businesses by my hotel when I visit and am very aware of my surroundings.
Now we stay away unless it is absolutely necessary to go there. It is too dangerous and I sure don't want to park my car there to get it broken into. BLM and the Progressive crazies have ruined the city.
“described as black juveniles”
HUH??? Do my eyes deceive me? C’mon eyes, stop fooling around.
“black juveniles”?
Never would have expected that.
They are such a peace loving species.
Hey, “M_n_L”, where this “Asheville” is? in France?
There was a time when a news story included the state along with the city name. What a quaint notion.
Age 10. We need public caning.
[it is seeking “the three main suspects,” who “are described as black juveniles between the ages of 10 and 17,” Asheville television station WLOS (News 13) reported June 25.]
“They’re good boys!”
That’s how grandma described her grandson and his friend, after they killed a white woman (in my area) during a drug deal (which, yes, she was absolutely a willing participant)
