Ben & Jerry’s doubles down on wokeness with new ad

Including telling people to ride bikes "naked to fight climate change." and building a “banned book” library.

Which is a pity, because there really aren’t any other ice cream producers in their market apart from Haagen Dazs, and HD doesn’t have the same level of creativity. I don’t buy B&J because of their in-your-face politics. It’s probably better for my waistline, but it would be nice on occasion to have an alternative. Maybe someone who just (shocking) makes ice cream. They don’t have to be the antithesis of B&J, just neutral.

Ben & Jerry’s is part of woke EU giant Unilever.

Its difficult to imagine a more woke and globohomo corporation than InBev/Bud Light, but Unilever has managed it.

I could get on board with that part, but only if I get to pick the bike riders.

Not just ice-creams. Liberals control everything it seems. Even once conservative institutions like the military and country music and NASCAR.

Banned books - there is no universal ban but there are books banned from some school libraries.

There are teachers and librarians very actively pushing books promoting all manner of LGBTQ.

If you want to get your own child TimmyTammy Tucks, Amazon carries it.

Then there are the canceled books, the ones editorial staff won't touch, that Amazon and best seller lists manipulate and bury. There are the organized woke takeovers of fan groups and writer associations.

I am collecting my own library of disreputable, cancelled books but they probably aren't the ones that Ben and Jerry are thinking of.

And I ask my local library to acquire disreputable books. They actually do! Ed Brodow's War on Whites is now circulating.

and building a “banned book” library.

I thought adult book stores pretty much closed down by the early 1990s.

Oklahoma based Braum’s ice cream is pretty good. I buy their 1.5 qt. containers here in Tx. Quite a variety of flavors too and not overly pricey either. Besides ice cream made from ‘conservative red state cows’ is better for the nation, LOL.

I thought that I remember reading that this company was in financial trouble or some such thing.

It was either this ad or another similar one I saw where they were indeed promoting public nudity (with clouds covering the naked parts in the ad) as promoting “progress” and promoting the apparent sexualization of children through the “banned book library” - interesting YouTube blocks the option of the marking this ad as “inappropriate” like it allows for other ads.

Stop buying Ben and Jerry’s - don’t boycott - just cut them out of your life. There is plenty of other good ice cream out there that doesn’t run these kinds of ads. And make sure others know the behavior of this company so they can also refrain from purchasing. Stop funding our own destruction and funding people who hate you.

Yall best me to it, I was going to say Braums. Their A2 milk does help some in our family with dairy sensitivity, they have a large variety of flavors, not to mention their seasonal options. But hands down, no one compares to their sugar free options. Been a diabetic for 20+ years and tried all the low sugar ice cream flavors out there. No one, and I mean no one, compares to what Braums puts out in terms of quality and variety for low sugar flavors.

Well, people can build a “banned” book library, or they can just buy the books at the bookstore for their kids. The books are merely “banned” from TAXPAYER-FUNDED SKREWELS.
