One man was puzzled to find ATF agents at his front door, demanding to see his legally owned firearms. The agents failed to present any warrant and claimed this was just a routine check. What they forgot to take into account was the homeowner’s door camera.
Two ATF agents and one state trooper showed up at a man’s home, seemingly warrantless and donning tactical gear, and demanded to see his legally owned firearms. According to reports, the homeowner was alerted to trespassers on his property by motion detectors outside his front door. A live video feed from his doorbell camera showed three armed men wearing tactical vests, t-shirts, and jeans. Two appeared to be ATF agents. The third was a Delaware State Police trooper. None wore body cameras.
“Reporter Frankie Stockes of the National File shared the video, and reported that the agents were ‘warrantless,'” The Daily Caller reported. “The agents were trying to ensure no straw purchases were made. A straw purchase is when an individual buys a gun for someone else.” However, the homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, was genuinely alarmed by what transpired.

2A banglist.
Someone else who is not eligible to own a firearm, yes. Otherwise, no.
Saw something like this on utube. No warrant, no entry. IF I had any firearms.
No warrant, please leave or you are trespassing.
Show me a warrant or get off my property!
Also, f you purchase a gun with the intent to sell it to another person, even if they can legally own it. A genuine gift from one person to another person (who is legally eligible to possess a firearm) is not a straw purchase. For example an elderly lady came into the shot last fall and wanted to purchase five Henry rifles, one for each of her grandsons, and give them a Christmas presents. Totally legal.
i know i did nothing wrong, you three, however, are violating my constitutional rights. let me see your badge numbers so i can make a formal complaint to my congressman and senators about your totalitarian jack bootedness.
good day sir. i said good day.
Why was he chosen?
Were they legit?
More questions than answers.
is she looking to adopt...
sweet granma... please.
> The only proper response is “Do you have a search warrant”? No? Then have a nice day.” And close the door. <
I agree with you, except do not open the door. Talk through a closed door or an open window. There have been instances of a cop sticking his foot inside an open door. Then when the homeowner tries to shut the door, he hits the cop’s foot.
Then the homeowner is arrested for assault on a police officer.
Here’s a lawyer talking about that. It’s a good video, informative and entertaining.

Can we do citizen SWAT raids on government employee homes on the suspicion that they have not followed the Bill of Rights? And then make them prove they have not?
if people refused to consent as is their right
these routine checks
would be fruitless
and stop
I have a little list... ;-)
I would politely ask each of them for business cards and ask the squad leader if he would mind if I called ATF headquarters to confirm the visit was part of official business.
At the same time I would call our local sheriff and request a prowl car be dispatched to make sure the visitors were who they claimed.
What if somebody mis transcribed one of those numbers ?
The bloodthirsty ATF thugs were hoping there were some children they could kill in the house.
Hold on while I call my sheriff. Local deputy is my friend
I will also put on my shoulder holster with my S&W 357 before answering the door
Just a reminder the government is there to kill you.
I had ATF goons try to set me up. Every machine shop in town was visited by undercover agents wanting to “rent” machine time to Kate ar15 lowers. This was Obama’s under the radar gun control schemes, I told the guy to leave and never come back. A few days later ATF goons showed up asking if they could have a look around. When I said know they got more aggressive and said, “we heard you were making guns here so if you aren’t we just need to have a look around and we’ll be gone.” I said no again. They up the intimidation and said, “we will have to make a note that you are uncooperative.” I called the sheriff who HATES feds. They never came back. And no, I don’t make guns and never have.
They are sent out to intimidate and scare the public. Every single rotten bastard that works for those agencies are truly enemies of the people.
