Democrats begin to consider Harris at the top of their ticket

Several party leaders suggest that if Biden steps aside, Harris would have to be his replacement.

As President Biden continues to face questions about whether he should end his bid to seek a second term, there are growing signs that many in the Democratic Party are willing to accept the notion of Vice President Harris at the top of their presidential ticket, a potentially significant shift.

Rep. James E. Clyburn (S.C.), a high-ranking member of the House and a longtime Biden friend, has publicly said he would support Harris if Biden stepped aside, adding that his fellow Democrats “should do everything to bolster her, whether she’s in second place or at the top of the ticket.”

She will lose. But she will be tarnished as a loser and will never run again or ever heard from again.

What a nation. When a cackling hyaena laugh airhead could possibly be considered a presidential nominee.

Kamala is the least messy option. Only she would start off with the Biden/Harris war chest. Anyone else starts with zip.

“Harris would have to be his replacement.”

The fact that this is even a question among the talking heads says everything one needs to know about Harris.

It is like a husband dying and others speculating that his widow might actually inherit his estate.

‘Word salad’ Harris must be the nominee in the event that Biden withdraws. Despite all her negatives, the media can run cover and help create a statesman-like image to last though election day.

The polling on a hypothetical Moochelle candidacy is bluster. She is Harris without the resume.

Big Mike doesn’t have to lead the country. She only has to win in November.
