My sister had a double whammy - White Brain Matter disease, from a concussion years prior, which was destroying her brain plus Alzheimer's.....I cannot put into words her great suffering so I won't try. Enough that she not only would get very violent and hurt hospital staff , but so strong it took 4 aides to hold her down...she was in her 70's. I cried so much for her I didn't know I had so many tears....Cognitive diseases are just so rough, for caretakers as well as patients.
Oh, I’m so sorry that she and you both had to go through that. I wish they would find a cure for these things.
