CNN — Joe Biden’s family on Sunday encouraged the president to stay in the 2024 race and privately discussed whether top aides should be fired on the heels of Biden’s stunningly poor debate performance, which has thrown his campaign into turmoil.
Biden’s family, including first lady Jill Biden, son Hunter Biden and their grandchildren, convened at Camp David for a previously scheduled get-together and implored the president to keep fighting in his bid for reelection, Biden advisers told CNN. One adviser described the family members as having offered their “unequivocal support.”
The family – clearly frustrated with the team that prepared President Biden ahead of his alarming debate with former President Donald Trump – discussed whether any of Biden’s top advisers should be fired and whether campaign staffing changes should be made, one adviser said.
Biden, however, is known for being loyal to and protective of his close advisers, and does not like to fire aides. As of Sunday, it did not appear that any major staffing changes were looming.
The admiration and support that Biden’s family showed the president Sunday mirrored the first lady’s effusive public praise for her husband in recent days.

I can see it now. Someone will get a giant image of Fort Marcy Park, place it on a flatbed, and drive it around and around wherever SloJo, Jilly, Hunter et al are. Camp David, the White House, Delaware, brothel, wherever. SloJo will think it is a golf course, and the rest of the Biden Crime Syndicate will get the message.
Joe is the Biden family’s ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card. They’re protected as long as he’s president. The DOJ and FBI won’t be able to protect them if Trump becomes president.

That's not really true, because Trump was President, and the DOJ and FBI covered up for, and protected those who had colluded in Crossfire Hurricane, and everything that came after it. Trump will have to do massive housecleaning at the DOJ, FBI, CIA and the rest of the alphabet agencies in order to get successful prosecutions of the people who have been protected for the past 8 years.

Reference: Megalomaniacs are pathological egotists with delusions of grandeur and an obsession with power, convinced of their absolute power and greatness. Self-centered and overconfident they want to control the world.
Yet, Biden seriously misjudged the effects of his debate con. The televised images viewed by 50 million that showed a diminished Biden, open mouthed, blankly staring, freezing-up, talking nonsense, will live beyond his presidency.
The fact that anybody calls him a good man (like Lindsey Graham) just shows how rotten DC is.
