‘The Decision Has Been Made That’ Biden ‘Will Quit the Campaign,’ Says Bill O’Reilly
PJ Media ^ | 06/30/2024 | Matt Margolis

Posted on 06/30/2024 9:55:53 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

On Saturday, we reported that Joe Biden was planning to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with his family on Sunday during a previously scheduled family gathering at Camp David. While many in the Democratic Party appear ready to pull the plug on Biden, the Biden campaign has been somewhat defiant, insisting that the octogenarian isn't going anywhere.

But, according to pundit and author Bill O'Reilly, a decision has been made, and Biden is going to quit his campaign.

So, it's over for Joe. But the White House doesn't yet know how or when to make the announcement. Stay close. (2/2)

#NoSpin— Bill O'Reilly (@BillOReilly) June 30, 2024

Is this report trustworthy? Well, to be honest, I have my doubts. For one thing, there's no indication that O'Reilly is basing this on any inside source. This reads like a very bold prediction being passed off as inside information.

If it were based on sources, other outlets would be reporting this as well, and so far, I've been unable to find any reports from other outlets indicating that such a decision has been made.

Does that mean O'Reilly is wrong? No.

For one thing, major donors do appear to be closing their checkbooks... for now.

"To many major donors of President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, one thing is obvious after Thursday's debate debacle: things need to change – and fast," reports USA Today. "Less than 24 hours since the two men left the debate stage, Democratic donors were feverishly texting each other about facing a free fall ahead of the August convention in Chicago. With the clock ticking, bundlers − the people who give and rake in large sums − were openly wondering ...

The plan:

* Move the debate ahead of usual schedule
* Use the debate to test Joe, if he competes ok then fine...the fraud machine and media can push ‘them’ (those actually in control) over the line
* If he fails...
* Media narrative must be ready to go, he must resign. Done.
* All major donors get ‘the message’
* Donations dry up
* Biden is FORCED to exit race
* Kamala isn’t the choice
* Michelle would never do it, besides being completely unqualified, the Obama’s don’t have shine across independents and blacks that they used to
* Newsome or Whitmer - place bets!

I hope Biden stays in the race, we need a LANDSLIDE up and down the ballot.

If Biden stays - The Dems will lose everything.

My best guess is Michelle. Only one I think all the donors will ok, women, Blacks, illegals, many wish washy independents, etc. JMO.

I would feel more like celebrating if Trump is POTUS during the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation.

“I really wonder if BOR is actually “in the loop” anymore….”

Probably not, but he has a 50/50 chance of being right, and so if he’s lucky, he can CLAIM he was tipped off.

Congress needs to vote for vp?

*************

I believe it’s A 25th Amendment thing, when there is a vacancy.

I don’t know the exact details.

During the Watergate Nixon takedown era, VP Agnew resigned.

Ford became VP with congressional approval, later Nixon resigned, Ford became President and Nelson Rockefeller became VP after both the Senate & House voted to confirm.

Rockefeller remained VP until Ford was replaced by Carter after losing the 1976 Presidential Election.

Walter Mondale became VP.

I ‘think’ the open convention allows the delegates to vote for someone other than the current P/VP. this is what odumbo is calling for; that they find someone to replace Kammy and then mandate internally that the delegates vote them in instead.

It’s an option for them.

I just don’t see how they settle on a completely new ticket, without it being very bloody.

The new ticket wouldn’t have won any primaries & would be basically admitting the Biden/Harris administration is a failure. They’ll try say Biden did great and is just too old, but it still looks bad.

I think removing Harris is a huge problem

Not sure O’Rageboy is a credible source any more.

I hope this is not just a desperate ploy for attention. He’s probably been begging Megan Kelly to host him on her podcast.

Bongino all but skinned O'Blowhard alive last week. Bill'd better stick to history books for while.

BOR is irrelevant these days. The likelihood that he has legit insider information is small.

I hear lots of folks no longer view him as credible, and I no longer listen to anything he has to say.

Hint to megadonors—contact your friends in the CIA.

They can give Jill an offer she can’t refuse.

(Remember Bill Colby—former Olympic swimmer who managed to drown in the Potomac? How about Vince Foster? hint hint hint)

An open convention gets rid of Harris without openly getting rid of Harris.

It is the easiest and best way to push her out of the way.

Would such a convention be wild and crazy?

For sure—but there would be so many ticked off Democrats calling each other names that Harris will just be one of dozens of stories to cover.

*********************

If they dump both Biden & Harris their convention will be a complete mess & they’ll lose in November by the worst margins since 1988.

If Biden resigns and Harris becomes President, they’ll still lose by the worst margins since 1988.

A Biden resignation would create a vacancy for VP after Harris becomes the 47th President. House Republicans could block any replacement leaving President Harris without a VP until after Trump’s inauguration.
Harris would still have a running mate for the election, but they wouldn’t be the VP. House Republicans should play hardball and only confirm a ‘no name’ democrat.

At the end of the day I think they stick with Biden because all their other choices are worse. I think Biden loses but not by 1988 margins.

One last point, didn’t the democrat voters in their primary contests overwhelmingly back the Biden/Harris Virus?
