Oh she’s back to school in September - Grade 5. I just have to make sure she catches up on her math and some spelling/grammar.
She’s a smart cookie, but she couldn’t care less about her school work. There’s always something more fun or interesting to do lol. It’s funny, but it’s not. Plus she’s the most unorganized, sloppy, messy kid I’ve ever met lol...UNLESS it’s something that SHE wants to do.
There’s a little two storey playhouse in the yard and she has converted it into her own little market stand. She has a little garden around the outside perimeter where she’s got some nice veggies growing. She has her tomatoes staked and everything is weeded and lovely. She has painted the inside white, hammered up a few shelves and has her own supplies and garden tools on them. Then, she made curtains for the windows out of white insect netting lol (they look like sheers), made a little sign with open on one side and closed on the other, and it hangs with a chain over the door. She’s got two little planters with flowers - one on each side of the front door. Every time she goes to the grocery store she heads over to the produce section and checks out all of the prices so she knows what to currently charge lol.
I’m surprised she doesn’t have frogs for sale. That’ll be next.
Enterprising young lady.
Diana - directing you to Judy’s post te her granddaughter… sounds like a knock off of you!!
Perhaps you could be her pen pal electronically. Ontario - Canada <> Wisconsin USA
How adorable! And industrious! I had an Honor Garden Stand at my other farm as I had good traffic flow. Never had anyone steal from me, but I DID lose the whole thing to a Semi that hit my stand, trying to avoid an accident.
The driver was SO apologetic and came back to help me rebuild it. Seems he came from a farm family, too!
Your Granddaughter is headed for great things! :)
