Poor plants not liking these high 90 degree temps Made sugar water for the hummingbirds in the crockpot last night and just filled the feeders But man oh man, the hummingbirds never seem to like each other. They’re always fighting and zipping around past my nose here on the deck. Theyre really fast compared to the seed eating birds.
And THAT is precisely why I do NOT like hummingbirds. They are highly territorial and do not like competition. They are worse than blue jays.

I was puzzled by “made sugar water for the hummingbirds in the crockpot last night”.
What am I not doing that I should be lol? I just mix the sugar with distilled or spring water in a measuring cup - I don’t even heat it. They seem to like it, but maybe I could up my game and get more of the little guys!
