Guys, I need some help with something for a school paper I’m working on…
If it’s true that Obama is working behind the scenes to take out Biden is that technically a coup or an insurrection?
Re; Garland contempt resolution—12 GOP did not vote, and 4 voted no.

coup d’état
noun
ˌkü-(ˌ)dā-ˈtä ˈkü-(ˌ)dā-ˌtä, -də-
variants or coup d’etat
pluralcoups d’état or coups d’etat ˌkü-(ˌ)dā-ˈtä ˈkü-(ˌ)dā-ˌtä, -də- also coup d’états or coup d’etats
Synonyms of coup d’état
: a sudden decisive exercise of force in politics
especially : the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group
Insurrection
According to Merriam-Webster, “insurrection” is the “act of revolting against civil authority or an established government.” Other definitions, like that of the Cambridge Dictionary, specify the act is usually a violent one. Synonyms include “revolt” or “uprising,” according to Merriam-Webster.
If Obama is working behind the scene (which I think he is) It doesn’t fit either of these catagories.
