President Biden is still committed to a second debate against Donald Trump despite his abysmal showing on Thursday night.
Biden, 81, will return to the debate stage in September, CNN senior White House correspondent Kayla Tausche reported Friday morning, citing an adviser.
Biden is also not considering dropping out of the race — despite concerns from members of his own party.

In rejecting a second “debate”, Trump should explain that, unlike Joe’s shrill wife, he does not want to participate in the incessant abuse of this rapidly deteriorating, very sick old man.

I guess the updated male version of “The Stepford Wives” arrived in the box from Amazon and is sitting on the porch of the White Hospital.

A rally is quite different than a television debate. In a rally he is going to cover topics he knows are coming and will be doing all the speaking not allowing the topics to be changed or narrowed. In the debate, he was forced to go into areas he was not briefed on and had to make decisions how to discuss or answer them. This is why he never answers any open question during his visits. All questions require black and white answers, are pre-set, and if someone goes off his lineup he will not entertain them with an answer. In other words, in the debate, he had to shoot from the hip and his weak mental capacity couldn’t sort out pieces to come up with an answer. Or an answer that either didn’t match the question, was incomplete, or was totally off the subject, was entered.
But his willingness to go back to another of these exhibits when his party is trying in large numbers to figure out how to get rid of him is making me remember an old story written by O’ Henry. The liberals grabbed him for their purposes, and were set up to gain with him. But now that that gain is going out the window every time he opens his mouth he has become a burden and no one can get rid of him if he doesn’t want to go, reminds me of “The Ransom of Red Chief.” They got him. Now what do they do with him? And just like the story, red chief (Biden) and the parents (citizens of the US and the republican party), want him to stay exactly where he is. And the only people red chief can terorize at the time is the liberals.

Never get in the way of the enemy when he’s making a mistake. Same can be said for the democrat party. Let them continue down this disaster of a road they’re on and don’t help them out.

Biden will return for a second disastrous performance but he will never give up on his quest for the presidency. Dr Jill will remind him of that. Biden has invested too much in that his whole life. You can forget the idea of Biden ever giving up.

Let Americans get another good dose of Biden's dementia closer to the election - so Biden supporters can be reminded as to what they're foolishly supporting - and those of us who believe Biden is too weak and feeble to be the leader of the free world will know we're right.
No amount of prep (seven days and 16 handlers prepped Biden for the last debate dumpster fire) - or drugs - can overcome Biden's dementia.
For Trump I see no upside to a second debate. Why give Biden a chance to redeem himself? Let this be the performance he has to campaign on.
He spent a month training for this past week's debate, in one form or another. If he wasn't being benefited from medication that would greatly surprise me.
Biden and his handlers bet it all on this debate and they lost.
Biden won't let go of his power. He will still believe he can triumph over Trump. This next time he will train even HARDER. Will likely take even more drugs.
It will be almost a miracle if he doesn't collapse and die in front of the cameras and millions of people watching, if not well before the day of the debate.

Biden also said he's agreeable to allowing Ross Perot and Eugene McCarthy to participate in the debate.

Yes. And that’s how he speaks. But when he leaves the podium at the rally, and gets out of sight of the answers to the questions he knows he is going to get, they have to be deflected to the ones he has tried to grasp the answers to and has been pre-planned to be asked in a particular order. In the debate he didn’t even have that during the question and answer period and the questions couldn’t be deflected. When he runs out of those pre-planned like at the rally, then there’s nothing left but waves, handshakes, and an occasion hair sniffing. At the debate, there is never a time when he can escape until the credits run or during commercials. I think they wanted the mics turned off between answers was to keep him from making a comment to make it worse when he had to go a capella.
