It was simply too hot to move fast. The kitties, I’m sure, found their cool spots and slept all day. Now that it’s a bit cooler, they can prowl and will do more as the desert cool night sets in.
You were tough to get out on Champ even in the shade today, what with the high humidity y’all have. Geez. lt’s 78 there now. Sounds heavenly! LOL!
Sleeping the day away is the best thing they can do. Get up for a drink of water, then flake back out.
I reckon they’re happy to be able to prowl now. It’s cooler there than it is here by a few degrees. It’s 81 here.
I’m used to humidity so can handle it ok if there’s shade and it isn’t too hot. By the time I went out, the temp had dropped enough to deal with it. There were some clouds and a little breeze as well. No biggie.
But now that I’ve had supper and had time to unwind, it’s time for a shower. Back in a bit.
