Time to treat Google as a regulated phone company. No one can stop you from using the phone system.
And force it to divest Android and YouTube.
I just looked up “presidential race 2024” on Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Yandex, Luxxle, and Tusk.
All the results looked about the same. The biases weren’t especially strong, but Google definitely returned more NYT and CNN stories than the others.
Artificial intelligence favors senile politicians—does not want any human competition.

Google is operating as a Publisher, while claiming not to be one.
Technology giants in shaping public opinion and access to information.
They have to answer only to one master to stay in business and the public ain’t the one.
